About Technical Support & Customer Service

Technical Support & Customer Service is concerned with technical affairs such as operations related to maintenance, reconfiguration and modernization of personal computers and all their accessories. The department also coordinates with the customer, and follows up on the backlog of procedures on his request or informing him of the outcome of the request to follow up and measure customer satisfaction. There are a number of technical support units for the university’s branches in the city of Rafha, Turaif, and Al-Awaqilah. Technical support for university employees, and raising the necessary technical needs and equipment to the director of the administration in order to ensure business continuity and technical infrastructure. The operations are carried out through the Technical Support Unit, and Customer Service Unit.

 

Technical Support Unit

Technical Support Unit tasks are as follows:

  • Maintaining, reformatting or updating of personal computers and all their accessories
  • Suggesting technical specifications for modern devices and their accessories, such as printers, etc., as needed by the university
  • Assisting the customer in installing new software or extensions
  • Installing computer hardware and accessories for the client
  • Preparing periodic reports regarding the unit's assets and problems, and submitting them to the Technical Support & Customer Service Manager

 

Customer Service Unit

Customer Service Unit tasks are as follows:

  • Receiving calls and communications from the user regarding technical support, and transferring them to the relevant unit
  • Providing possible remote assistance to the client in order to accomplish his tasks, and a quick solution to any problems that he may encounter
  • Receiving the client in the event of his presence in person and diagnosing his problem immediately
  • Coordinating with the client in following up the various procedures on his request, or informing him of the outcome of the request to follow up and measure his satisfaction
  • Preparing periodic reports regarding the unit's assets and problems, and submitting them to the Technical Support & Customer Service Manager
